It only seems like last week that Millwood Under 9’s played their final game of the season but already they are underway with their pre-season training and preparing for the forthcoming season. This year there are a lot of changes, they are now going to be playing 11 a side (previously 7 a side) and they will be playing on a full size pitch. To make it worse they will have to understand the off-side rule! This should be fun and not for those who have no patience! I have tried to explain it to my son but after an hour gave up. Luckily he wants to play in goal so it should not be too much of a problem for him. Anyway good luck for the season lads, I hope you do well but most of all enjoy playing.

Millwood FC plays in Division 6 of the South East Essex Primary League; they are a small friendly family run club that were formed in 2007. They play their home games at Shoeburyness High School and are currently 2nd in the Division as the season draws to a close.
