It only seems like last week that Millwood Under 9’s played their final game of the season but already they are underway with their pre-season training and preparing for the forthcoming season. This year there are a lot of changes, they are now going to be playing 11 a side (previously 7 a side) and they will be playing on a full size pitch. To make it worse they will have to understand the off-side rule! This should be fun and not for those who have no patience! I have tried to explain it to my son but after an hour gave up. Luckily he wants to play in goal so it should not be too much of a problem for him. Anyway good luck for the season lads, I hope you do well but most of all enjoy playing.
